Wedding Booking Process
Step One: We meet! Fill out my contact form and we can start talking about the details of your wedding. From there, we can meet for coffee, set up a phone meeting, or continue to email if you prefer. Although I do recommend at least a phone call so that I can answer any and all questions that come to mind :)
Step Two: You and your partner both sign a contract, and make a retainer payment of 30%.
Step Three: The fun stuff - we book your engagement session! I can help with location scouting and outfit planning.
Step Four: I create a wedding day photo timeline based on your goals for the day. I just need ceremony time and a few other details to start on a tentative timeline.
Step Five: We meet or schedule a phone call around a month before the wedding. This is where we will go over finishing details and timeline changes.
Step Six: We get you two married!
FAQs
Which package should I choose?
This depends on you goal for your wedding day. As a general rule, the 6 hour package will cover the very last steps of getting ready, through the beginning of your reception. The 8 hour package will cover the last half of getting ready through most of your reception. The 10 hour package will cover the entire day.
Do you offer payment plans?
All weddings require a 30% non-refundable retainer to reserve your date. After the retainer, you can log in and pay in increments as often as you would like. The final 70% is due at least 3 weeks before the date of your wedding.
How long does it take to receive my full gallery back?
All wedding galleries are returned within 6 weeks of your wedding. Depending on the amount of coverage you have booked, you could receive your galleries sooner. You will also receive around 20 preview images within two days of your wedding.
Do you offer any assistance with posing?
The short answer is YES! I will guide you through your photos to get both “candids” and standard portraits. Throughout most of your getting ready process, the ceremony, the reception, and “in between” times I shoot strictly from a storytelling perspective. For wedding party, bride & groom, family photos, etc I always offer guidance!
