Serenity & Ahamd || Rock Island State Park Couple

I knew from the start that this session was going to be aaaamazing.  I had been wanting to shoot at Rock Island for so long, this was the very first place that my husband and I camped way back in high school.  I'm so glad that Serenity and Ahmad were totally on board!  This location is not near the main entrance of the park.  You actually have to drive about 15 minutes from the entrance to the complete other side of the river to get here.  Luckily, I have been here many times so I had no trouble with the trip.  Unfortunately, Google Maps had other ideas for Serenity and Ahmad, and was leading them all over.   In the end, they made it and we captured some waterfall magic!

These two were really laid back and fun to work with.  Despite the sticky humidity and heat, they were cuddled up and ready to take in the views.  We ventured not far down the trail and hung out for a little bit.  I may or may not have had some close encounters with the cliff, but made it out in one piece.
