Mikaela & Caleb || Stone Door Engagement Photos

When Mikaela booked her wedding she told me that she and Caleb were open to any and all suggestions for engagement photos. I had shot at Stone Door before, so I knew that it was the perfect place to get tons of variety for our shoot!

We started our photos at the waterfall at the beginning of the trail, and standing next to it really makes you feel tiny. After that, we started onto the trail. It is about a 1 mile walk to get to the lookout at Stone Door, but luckily its a pretty easy trek!

On our walk I got to know Mikaela and Caleb a bit better. They are both in school to become teachers, and are student teaching, because they graduate in May. They have such a sweet and gentle relationship, but also get goofy at times. Goofy is my love language so I’m 100% here for this. I can’t wait to capture their wedding this summer!
