The Gilliams || Copper Ridge Event Venue Wedding

Annabel and Jake’s wedding just so happened to fall on a rainy day. It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it was a bit dreary out. If anyone thought that the rain would affect the cheery mood of the day they were completely wrong. From the time I arrived, Annabel and her bridesmaids and family were laughing and having a great time. They stayed tucked away in the bridal suite at Copper Ridge for most of the day leading up to the ceremony. Copper Ridge is one of the tucked away gems for a Murfreesboro wedding. They have so many little nooks for perfect photo opportunities, and the owners are so welcoming!

Annabel and Jake decided that they wanted to do a first look for their wedding. First looks are one of my favorite parts of a wedding day, so I was stoked! Originally, we thought that the first look would take place outside, but with the rain we decided to have it in the ceremony space. It never fails that I get misty eyed during first looks. The whole mood was romantic, and it was just these two, me, and the videographer. They took a minute to be alone and from there we prepared for the ceremony.

Here is where things take an interesting turn. There was a minor medical scare for a guest right as the wedding was starting, and paramedics were called. Luckily, everything ended up fine with, and the wedding was able to start.

This ceremony was pretty much out of a movie. Annabel and Jake’s friends and family surrounded them in a huge barn, and the rain hitting the metal roof serenaded the ceremony. Everything about it was perfect.

After the ceremony, everyone danced, ate, and made fun memories. Annabel’s younger brothers kept the party rockin’ and everyone had a great time. Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Gilliam!
