The Farmers || Intimate Chattanooga Wedding

I have a thing for small weddings. I’ve mentioned this what feels like a thousand times at this point, but I had an intimate wedding myself! When Kaila & Robert reached out in January they told me that they had around two months to plan their dream small wedding. From the beginning, I could tell that they were definitely my type of people. They were so ready to just be married, and figured everything else out as they went.

At some point in the planning process, Kaila told me that they would be using mixed china for their place settings. Mixed china is always so beautiful, but when I walked into the venue I could not believe just how perfect it all came together. Wildflower Event Planning truly brought together the most elegant, straight-out-of-Pinterest vibes ever.

While they were getting ready, Kaila and Robert both separately expressed that they couldn’t believe that the big day was finally here. This is something that I treasure about wedding days. I get to watch both the bride and groom in the moments leading up to such a big milestone. I hear the nerves, the excitement, the happiness, and everything else that comes on your wedding day.

The ceremony was at 1 pm and Kaila and Robert were surrounded by 30 of their closest friends and family. Everyone was so happy. As they walked back down the aisle (now as Mr. and Mrs.) the guests threw birdseed and it felt like time stood still.

After the ceremony, I got to steal the bride and groom for portraits. I barely had to direct these two at all. They were so ready to hug and kiss I almost felt like they didn’t even realize that I was there!

Once they returned to their guests, toasts were made, cake was eaten, and happy tears were shed. Congrats to the Farmers!
