Sarah & Marius || Max Patch Styled Shoot

I have been wanting to visit Max Patch for the longest time. It is about 4 hours from my house and seemed like it would make for the perfect overnight trip. When I started planning my trip, I decided that I wanted to take advantage of the scenery and shoot an awesome couple while I was up there. In comes Sarah! I met her through a Facebook group and she let me know that she and Marius were down for an adventure. So, we started planning.

I had booked an Airbnb for the night and decided to stop by on the way to Max Patch. Driving through the mountains doesn’t generally scare me, but when I got to the driveway of the cabin, I was a little nervous. My friend Jess was with me and at first we didn’t know if we would make it. You see, this wasn’t just a steep driveway, it was a steep, gravel, one mile long driveway. Luckily, we made it up.

After the Airbnb and taking only a couple of wrong turns (due to loss of cell service), we were there! It was somewhat cold outside, but still beautiful. We hiked up and started taking photos. I want to thank Marius and Sarah. They were a dream. They weren’t nervous to show a little PDA and were so fun to be around. They made the hike, and wrong turns all worth it.
