The Toneys || The Corners On Stones River Wedding

This wedding started with a big chance of rain right at the time of the ceremony. As I was driving to the venue I was nervous about how Yazmin would be reacting to the situation. As soon as I got there I realized that I had no reason to be worried. She was so calm and collected with a “whatever happens, happens” attitude. She’s the best.

After getting ready, Yazmin and Jarriett exchanged letters, and then had their first look. Both of which made Yazmin cry, which was Jarriett’s main goal.

Once we got to the ceremony, we realized that the chance of rain had been pushed back to right after. We got through the ceremony with only a dreamy sprinkling of rain.

As soon as the reception started, the sky fell and it poured rain for the rest of the night. The Corners on Stones River has an outdoor covered patio for receptions, so we could see and hear the rain, but were still covered. It was gorgeous.

Yazmin and Jarriett spent the night dancing with each other and friends. And I snuck over to the taco bar after everything settled down.
